Eden: A Space Between.

[SCRIPT WRITTEN - TEST SHOT]

A recluse inventor has reached the final tests of his latest obsession: a box that once connected, keeps your subconscious mind awake whilst you sleep.

David begins to explore the many obscure landscapes of his mind, meeting the many manifested parts of his personality. But as he digs deeper, David’s obsessive motivations become clearer - and this place, the box and his mission are not what he intended.

Eden: A Space Between was a short film I first conceptualised for my university final major project. The film I ended up shooting did well - shown in a major film festival in Leicester Square - but I always imagined something bigger and bolder.

The original concept was to make a modern homage to Kubrik’s 2001. To create a sci-fi adventure that felt like space travel, but didn’t actually feature any. A bizarre narrative with a lot of heart.
